Reinforcing each slot with aluminum channel doubles the holding capacity of the slot, as specified in the table below. When analyzing the load on a shelf, the point of reference from the face of the panel is 1/2 the depth of the shelf. Maximum weight should have 6 IN on each side of the bracket free of weight.
